Derrick Kindle is Co-Owner and Director of Academic Affairs of Transformed Barber and Cosmetology Academy. His previous position with a local major corporation afforded him an opportunity to work with a diverse and multi level workforce. His more than 20 years of exposure in the hair care industry has been beneficial to his personal and professional growth in the field. It has been the grace of God that provided him with the wisdom he uses daily to transform lives.
LaVerne Kindle is Co-Owner of Transformed Barber and Cosmetology Academy serving as Director of Instruction and Curriculum/Cosmetology. While working for one of the world’s largest greeting card companies for over twenty-three years and holding a license as a professional stylist, her passion for teaching and training others to get their license grew. As an instructor, she began to realize that there are various gifts and talents in everyone. She believes that being transformed is more than just a simple “Hair-Do”. Laverne believes transformation starts with the mind, having a positive view of oneself, as well as others, and should begin from the inside out.
Wonda Manney is the Director of Student Services for Transformed Barber and Cosmetology Academy. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has completed several master level hours in Instruction and Curriculum with the University of Missouri – Kansas City. She has been devoted to education for over 12 years. Wonda believes educators are lifetime learners, who are called to inspire and encourage others to expand their knowledge.
