DAY 1: Managing Classroom Instruction Through Change
FULL-DAY PROGRAM
8 HOURS
This course will assist educators in identifying, defining and adapting to change in an active learning environment.
Participants will through lecture, group discussions and role play review and expand upon the following:
- Define change and identify how it relates to classroom instruction.
- Determine what change is about
- Discuss how to get comfortable with change
- Explore how change has both a positive and negative effect in the classroom.
- Understand that change is inevitable and is a never-ending cycle.
Groups will form to create team building models and platforms to execute knowledge gained from this course and demonstrate its’ practicality based on real life work place environments to include but not limited to the following:
- Strategies for adapting to change
- Steps to create effective classroom activities that encourage and promote change
- Discuss methods for activating change within the classroom setting.
